So what's this V-Strom all about?

Hello, my name is Paul and welcome to my blog.  My passion is motorcycling and I ride a 2006 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 to which I have dedicated this blog.  I also have a Yamaha TTR250 trail bike that I use for trail riding and green laning.

When I purchased my V-Strom, it was 1-year old and had covered 10,000 boring commuting miles by the previous owner.  The bike wasn't uncared for, in fact it was in great condition.  But I could feel it yearned for something more adventurous.  After all, it is an adventure bike!

That's when I joined the VSRI forum, and I haven't looked back since.  Having quickly made friends with this easy going group of bikers, UK tours to Yorkshire, Wales, Derbyshire and Scotland quickly followed.  And further afield trips to The Alps, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania have followed.

This blog is somewhere to put some technical information and projects that I have undertaken with the strom, and also post some ride reports and photo's of my trips.  I hope that it is either useful, interesting or both to you.
